The SAOC gives mv=8.8, Spectral Class K7. on 1991 May 9 he estimated it at magnitude 8.9 whereas on a master slide of 1990 March 2 it was slightly fainter at magnitude 9.3. Mike Collins, Sandy, has identified the star as the suspected variable NSV 12441 = IRAS 19472+1843 = BD +18 4258 = HD 350668 = Dearborn 18207 (latter has red magnitude 8.7, Sp=K5). The entry in the NSV gives the photographic range as 9-9.5, type LB and the identity S 8326 (Sonneberg variable), originally discovered by Hoffmeister. The following e-chart has been prepared by N.James: \\\\\\NSV 12441 = SAO 105311 Discovered by Hoffmeister S,120,20,S P,19h 47m.2 +18 44' (1950.0) O,60,60,9,9.5 M,7,30,59 R,7.8,19,96,A,R R,8.8,69,80,B R,9.0,115,76,C R,9.4,90,47,D M,9,61,1,22,20 R,9.7,98,110,E M,10,17,112,64,80,55,109,19,83,112,104,23,82 R,10.1,42,27,F M,10,99,113,101,114,112,58,1,32,103,75,100,11 M,11,108,105,118,82,15,96,49,106,79,109,19,102,72,86 M,11,7,88,60,88,19,109,39,110,75,79,86,94,103,96 M,11,103,89,79,100,2,94,43,99,29,99,80,105,86,60 M,11,41,45,10,41,10,67,113,54,3,48,34,49,10,40 M,11,110,31,82,64,38,62,31,52,7,59,110,58,28,68 M,11,23,38,103,32,35,29,116,78,61,77,66,65,26,54 M,11,33,46,73,60,60,3,60,8,26,14,54,14,95,20 M,11,69,16,29,6,46,23,107,25,16,25,100,25 E,77 ////// Basic chart automatically generated by GSC2FIND ver 1.0 1991 JX E.
