Gary Poyner, Birmingham, has confirmed the star was above minimum on July 14.94 at 14.8. The previously recorded 'TA' outburst was reported on E398. POSSIBLE COMET (Q1990/56) J.-C.Merlin, France, reports that the first date quoted on E428 should read 1990 Mar 24.167 as a result of revised information from the photographer. He also mentions that recent visual and photographic attempts with a 0.40-m reflector in the extrapolated positions show no cometary object to magnitude 14 and that the object is presumably lost. COMET LEVY (1990c) Graham Keitch e-mails that he observed this comet on July 14.95UT at m1=7.2 with 6x32B which follows an earlier estimate by Mark Kidger on July 8.15UT at 6.9 (10x50B, Teide Observatory). NSV 13514 (Q1990/55A) Further to the announcement on E428 an e-mail chart is now available from Mike Collins and a paper version (B) can be obtained from the Editor. The query number is amended to Q1990/55A. Guy M Hurst
