Evans, Hazelbrook, N.S.W., reports his discovery on May 25.8 UT of a supernova in NGC 150 (R.A. = 0h31m.8, Decl. = -28 05',equinox 1950.0). K. Cooper and E. Sadler, Anglo-Australian Observatory, measured the offset of the supernova from the galaxy centre as 18" west and 26" north. The object (mag about 14) is situated in a spiral arm of the galaxy; nothing appears at this position on the ESO B survey photograph. IAUC 5022 Guy M Hurst
