It is located at: RA 23h26m58s DEC +50 56'39"(1950) which coincides with SAOC 035462, catalogued as mv=9.8, Sp=F8. Results 1988 Nov 20 until 1989 March 11 show scatter 9.7-9.9 but further estimates May 31, 10.1 and June 20, 10.3 suggest a fade. It is noted that NSV 14587 (formerly CSV 8858) is also listed in the same position and is catalogued as Sp=M8 with photographic range 13-14 approximate. It is not known whether the patrol variation is due to the primary SAOC star, or the NSV object which lies north, as the pair is not resolved and the separation is unknown. Prime focus photos of short exposure duration are needed to establish this information. If anyone has further information on the double this would also be interesting. Guy M Hurst
