LY Del = TAV J2106+194 = GSC 1657.1754)
This variable was discovered by Mike Collins during his nova patrol. It is
an eclipsing binary with a period of 10.35 days. The time of minimum is
given by MIN = JD 2450307.705+10.3526E. Primary eclipses last for over
a day and are about three magnitudes deep. There is some evidence for a
secondary eclipse of about 0.1 magnitudes but this is not confirmed.
To help you find the star here is a
finder chart prepared by Mike
Collins. These
images show the variation during an
eclipse.
