Gorbovskoy et. al., Lomonsov MSU, SAI, report on ATEL 9046 discovery of J052455.76-283005.8, a new possible dwarf nova outburst, with an amplitude of 6.2 magnitudes or more. This was recorded by the MASTER-SAAO auto-detection system who discovered the optical transient (OT source) at RA 05h 24m 55.76s DEC -28d 30m 05.8s (2016) on 2016 May 11.696UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 15.8 (limit 18.8m). There are six images showing the OT. There is no minor planet at this place. They have a reference image without OT on 2015 Dec 16.981UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 21.0m. There is no known source in VIZIER. This means the amplitude is more than 6.2 magnitudes. Spectral observations are required. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/052455.76-283005.8.png Guy M Hurst
